The Post Entry Quarantine (PEQ) service helps pets arriving from overseas complete their required quarantine period safely and comfortably, from arrival handling through to transfer home or onward travel.

If a vet or quarantine officer identifies health concerns, your pet may need extended stay or additional treatment, you’ll be notified and we’ll provide guidance and arrange care as needed with Pawssum mobile vets. Once you contacted us we will send one of our certified, experianced vets to check and treat your pet at the facility, you will be contacted by the Pawssum Mobile vets team, for the consult notes and payment for the vet service.

the costs for a Pawssum vets visit at the post‐entry quarantine (PEQ) are from $349, there is a surcharge for weekends and public holidays, the staff at Pawssum Mobile vets will advise the price at booking time.

The length of quarantine depends on the country of origin and pet health status, but typically ranges from 10 to 30 days in Australia.

Visits are generally not permitted during the standard quarantine period for pets arriving in Australia, due to biosecurity and monitoring requirements.
